Truth is…
“Truth is incotrovertible…” came from a speech to Parliament by Winston Churchill’s on May 17, 1916.
It is an interesting statement about facts – that they can be attacked – but they are the same whether we like them or not. Facts, science, and truth stand on their own merit. They do not require awards and participation trophies to show their value.
Churchill would use these same sentiments as he rallied British popular opinion against Germany in World War II.
There too, truth stood out, that Adolph Hitler had no peaceful intentions and was a person who must be confronted prior to realizing his global ambitions.
